Dara
Pronunciation: DAHR-ah

    A plain brown mare with a thin white blaze, and three short white socks; two on her front legs, and one on the right rear leg. She’s the result of generations of interbreeding smaller riding horses with larger work horses. She is of average size, though obviously more solid and stronger than palfreys.

    Dara is a docile creature, and was conditioned to be such. Her mixed pedigree can also be attributed to her even temper as many work horses are calm and placid. She is easily spooked by Krisatris, as she can sense the half-elves lycanthropy, but she has learned to tolerate it.

    Dara was foaled in Vedun to a small farming family. She was given to the son, Jenko, whose responsibility it was to train her. Jenko trained her well, but when Olula was banished from Vedun, he felt that Dara would benefit the half-elf more than himself.
